family of 3 going on 4

so today is cash's last day as an only child. it sounds so dramatic- but i am overcome with emotion at the thought of it. we are so looking forward to meeting our little girl, but we are also going to miss "the three of us". cash spent the morning helping get the last few things in order before his sister enters the world tomorrow. then he started to practice what it will be like taking care of "his baby" with his curious george doll. maybe this only warms a mother's heart- but i weep at the sight and can't wait to see him with his little sister. and then of course- he wanted to still be the baby...uh oh.

facebook has taken over the blog-- but i am going to try and keep up so that we have some sort of "baby book" for these kids.

holy snow!

according to the news we are on track to set records in snow fall this winter. apparently we are in a tight race with the winter of '94/'95, which i remember well because it was my first winter living in NH. i remember trekking through snow in my halloween costume thinking "why did i move here?"... let's hope that mother nature lets up a bit, it's pretty sad when you're looking forward to tomorrow because it's going to be a high of 40! down right balmy folks!!

winter

we got hit pretty hard by the 3 day snow storm- believe it or not, it's all gone now! our back yard is a giant puddle. yuck.



with the snow came the freezing cold- cash had no problem drifting off in all his winter gear.





he made reindeer antlers at school one day and wore them around the house everyday until...






our new puppy sadie tore them to shreds.

first hot cocoa!

we had a snowy day here in new england. cash and i came in from playing (in the eight of an inch- this kid has no idea what he's in for) and i made him his first cup of hot cocoa. did he like it? the pictures speak for themselves i think!

fast asleep

cash and kells fell fast asleep on the couch last night at a whopping 6:30! what you can't see is the peanut butter and jelly sandwich that is in cash's hand still- i had to wipe the crumbs off his mouth when i put him into bed. these two look nothing alike huh?
